For those of you (my family and dear friends) that have asked how I am doing and how am I holding up, well here is the latest. I have 2 large boots and one foot is wrapped a bit different than the other , some kind of sofl cast wrap. Anyway I have to sleep in these darn things. They are like combat boots with steel toes and then weights dropped down inside them and then they are duck tapped all around your foot and up your let close to the knee. It is just wonderful sleeping, the weight, the velcro locks up the left boot to the right boot and I am sitting up in the middle of the night pulling them apart. Wake up in the morning and then the real fun begins, Poor Kaleen and Kim try to get me out of the bed and not put any weight on either foot, People, it is not happening. I have to use my let foot to balance a bit and to pivot. I have a wheelchair, bedside potty chair, walker and a walked on wheels with a seat. More crap than you haul around for a new born baby. But I am feeling somewhat better. Not as much pain. Thanks for all the well wishes and inquiries.
