For those of you not at the reunion, or was not able to hear, Judith Britton (Judy Brewer) won our Most Interesting Career Award. Judy was a close friend and we spent years in choirs together. We thought of her as a very put-together, kinda straight-laced girl. Right out of high school, she joined the Santa Ana Sheriffs Dept. and became an undercover vice cop. We were shocked! She has had quite a few other short careers. She is now part of a Search and Rescue Team, which is not a big surprise. However, she doesnt search for people. She is a Pet Detective!! Of course, the first thing I thought when I heard this was Ace Ventura: Pet Detective with Jim Carrey!! Just a joke! However, she gave me a short summary of what she does. She has Search & Rescue dogs that help. She searches around the country, including lost cats. She can find and identify animals with hair and fur. Ask her about it - its fascinating!! And she can tell you much better than!! Very impressive, Judy!!!
