For those of you receiving public housing assistance , look at the June 13th copy of the Macomb voice . It is a letter to the editor by a Jerry Fess describing the possible cuts to the program . According to his sources many receiving Subsidy on your rent thru Hud may have your rents doubled or more . The national low income housing as well as Housing action of Illinois according to him said you are on your own as we are doing nothing about it !Mr. Fess suggested you contact your state or local congressman , or state rep. etc !
