For those of you that are wondering, the following post IS for political gain... if you read the childrens story that I shared, you will realize that I am the child (okay, so not a child) that is speaking up and telling the truth! Do you wonder why our current mayors biggest supporter is running around town bashing Brenda, Kenny and AJ? I can tell you why... Its because he knows if they are elected, he will no longer have control over this city! How many fire chiefs does the city have? The answer should be, one, but as an observer, it looks more like two! It appears the one with the title cant make a move without consulting the other. Several of the firefighters have posted the group picture that was recently made. Take a real close look at it and keep in mind, the white hats are for the officers! The Mayors BIG supporter also has been calling people to his house to try and intimidate them into voting for our current mayor! He uses lots of profanity to describe the three candidates mentioned above. I have personally heard him call Brenda some things that shouldnt be yelled in public! Do we want four more years of this? No, No, No!!! Our current mayor has bullied the city council to the point they no longer argue with him to prevent a temper tantrum (theres really no other way to describe it)!!! I have heard people say that I am just seeking revenge because I lost my job. Revenge? No... Justice? YES! Its funny to me how the ones saying this are the very ones who are actually doing it! I think the saying is something about the pot calling the kettle, black! Something to ponder on...Stockholm syndrome, or capture-bonding, is a psychological phenomenon in which hostages (or in this case, employees) express empathy and sympathy and have positive feelings toward their captors (employer), sometimes to the point of defending and identifying with them.
