For those of you who are passionate about curing pediatric cancer, My friend James Ragan passed away on February 17, 2014. He battled a form of pediatric bone cancer, osteosarcoma, for eight years. I became very good friends with him after meeting at his triumph over kids cancer fundraiser 3 years ago. He truly is one of the most inspiring people I have met. I love comparing him to Steve Gleason for many reasons. 1. The challenge of a lifetime is facing him and he came out swinging with a no white flags mentality. 2. Because the disease is so underfunded, James became passionate about fundraising, creating awareness, and helping others going through the same situation in their life. 3. James also continuously gave everyone perspective on their own life... I miss him so much I cant stand it. James passed away at the age of 20. In the last year of his life he agreed to have filmmakers document everything he was going through to be able to share his story. The film is called Until 20 .
