For those of you who arent members (and why not I ask?!? ;)), and so didnt get a copy of our last newsletter ..... or just happened to miss this bit in the reading .... The FLCV is proud to announce that our next championship show will be held on Saturday 31 October 2015 in Sunbury. We have made this adjustment to our show calendar in a way which will hopefully balance out show dates a little for our Lappie community, but which also enables us to include our show amongst the Melbourne Cup Weekend carnival of shows. This will consist of our specialty on the Saturday, the Working Dog Clubs show on the Sunday, Victorian Womans Dog Club show on the Monday and the Sunbury Dog Club show on the Tuesday. Both Mondays and Tuesdays shows number around the 2000 entry mark and are big events with a full international judging panel ...... and ....... lots of shopping! Our show will be held at the same venue as Sunday and Mondays shows have traditionally been held (unfortunately we all have to move down the road for the Tuesday show, but for interstate competitors that means you get to participate in the great gazebo dash .... a sight not to be missed! - Im kidding, but only just). More information will be announced as it comes and can (judges etc), but I hope this advance notice assists in everyones planning for 2015.
