For those of you who can get to London on Saturday December 13 please try and make it to an event organised by one of our partners, the Islamic Human Rights Commission (IHRC). Institutional Islamophobia: A conference to examine state racism and social engineering of the Muslim community takes place on Saturday, 13 December from 2 - 6.30pm. This last year has seen an exceptional increase in public discourse around Muslims and the terms of their differential treatment in regards to their citizenship. Join the IHRC as they analyse institutional and structural forms of prejudice and hatred with some focus on recent events, particularly regarding education and political activism. What recommendations can be made? WHERE: Rooms MAL 414 and 415, Birkbeck University of London, Malet Street, London WC1E 7HX.
