For those of you who do not know I am a Son of the American Revolution with an ancestor who was a Captain in the Revolutionary War. I am a member of the Mass chapter. I might add I lost two additional ancestors on Breeds Hill (James and Thomas). The Boynton family has been in America since 1627. Today a comrade in Mass sent me an email with an attachment that serves to define why I served in the military for 21-1/2 years, retiring honorably.
