For those of you who dont know what a mensch is , I will explain. A mensch is basically a good guy. It is a person ( or doggie) who is responsible , knows right from wrong and is looked up to. This definition definitely dscribes Teddi, a Maltese loved by Diane Eisner. Diane is a good friend of Auntie Susan Stroman. Teddi didnt want to leave his family but he knew his time had come and he accepted his new calling. He had time to pack lots of pictures and his favorite snacks....chicken, cookies and bananas. Teddie made sure he gave his family lots of love before he left his home. His whole life was about love and he had the best family a doggie could ask for. As he started his journey to the Rainbow Bridge he realized he just wasnt finished on Earth. He had one more act of menschhood to perform. He made a big detour and went all the way from Florida to Nevada. This little guy accepted a big task from us. We told him about Bounder, a red nosed pit bull who got out of his backyard and was lost to his family. His Mommy , Ashton Shearer is devastated, as are her kids. Bounder started his journey to the Bridge.....but he was not alone. Little Teddi was there to hold his paw and guide him through his journey. They traveled together in the intergalactic tunnel....cuddling, laughing , sharing stories of their lives, and eating the treats that Teddi and the ones we provided. When they landed, they were still paw in paw. Teddi was greeted by Beannie and Tosca Rose and they had an emotional reunion. Bounder and Teddi will continue to be BFFs and roommates. They will choose their home later today. but first, they are on their way to the star factory. They will pick beautiful stars and hang them so they shine right into their families homes and hearts. They both want their families to know they are safe and their love will always continue. They are not gone...they live within their loved ones hearts. BELIEVE!
