For those of you who dont know (which should be almost everybody) Im going to court to day because my ex-wife is trying to keep me from seeing my kids. Ive written a special prayer to share with all of you and your thoughts, prayers. well wishes, good vibes, etc. are eagerly sought. Oh Lord, God of Battle, be my sword and my shield as I fight for my right to see my daughters in court today. This is the fight of my life. I cannot win without you. With you I cannot fail. Oh Lord, God of Hosts, grant me the strength of all those who pray with me, wish me well, send positive thoughts or channel good vibes. I can use all the strength I can get today. Oh Lord, God of Patience, grant me the ability to speak calmly and to deal with the arguments of my opponent that I may better make my argument. Oh Lord, God of Wisdom, grant me your blessing in choosing the right words and phrases. Grant the judge wisdom to do what is truly best for my children, who are also your children. Grant wisdom also to your daughter Nicole, that she may see the need for her daughters, who are also your daughters, to know their father and his love. Oh lord, God of Mercy, do not punish Riley and Cecilia for an argument between their parents. Forgive Nicole for her attempt at keeping them away from their parents as I hope to someday be able to. Oh Lord, God, Father of Us All, help me to do more for my children. I confess before you and all who read this that I have not been a perfect father. I never will be. Help me to shelter my children from the storm. to cheer their accomplishments and to support them in all things. Oh Lord, God of Justice, guide the decision of the judge today, that it shall be in favor of Riley and Cecilia, that they may grow with the caring of loving of their father. They have done no wrong. Oh Lord, God of Miracles, thank you for the children you have given me. Forgive me for being so demanding. It is not for my sake that I pray. Oh Lord, Teacher and Fount of All Good Things, I beseech you bestow your blessing up myself and all others who read this that we may grow in the knowledge of you and your love. I also ask all of those so inclined to join with me as we come before you in the manner you have taught us to. In humility and joy, I pray: Our Father Who art in heaven Hallowed be thy name Thy Kingdom Come They will be done On Earth as it is in heaven Give us this day our daily bread And forgive us our trespasses As we forgive those who trespass against us And lead us not into temptation But deliver us from evil For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory Forever and ever Amen In Jesus name we pray, Amen
