For those of you who dont like Kobe Bryant, u hate d guy whose only goal was to give u what u wanted to see: Greatness. Michael Jordan retired still at d top of his game, leaving us wanting for more. We wanted The next Michael Jordan. Right on cue, Bryant answered our call. He was The Reincarnation. The closest thing to MJ himself. Kobe gave us unparalleled consistency unseen since d time of another Laker great, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. He was alrdy awesome when his rivals were Duncan, KG, & his then teammate, Shaq Diesel. He was spectacular when his rivals then were Iverson, Vinsanity & TMac. He owned d game when it was Nash, Nowitzkis turn. Now, d Black Mamba is still right up there against d likes of LeBron, Durant, CP3 et al. Kobe was so Jordanesque that u couldnt believe there could actually be a next-Michael Jordan in such a short amount of time. So, inexplicably, u turned on him. If Kobe did his thing in any other period in d NBA or had he played in a pre-Jordan era u would worship him like u did Larry & Magic, and yes, like u did to Mike. And so his return is almost upon us.
