For those of you who drove by and saw Tarpon Springs Police Department outside our office today, not to worry, we were doing an interview with My Fox Tampa Bay about a recent Craigslist scam. Someone is using our company name and founders personal identity to post fake jobs on the popular online marketplace to lure people into sharing their personal information, and eventually requesting they send the scammer money via Western Union. Both the TSPD and Fox 13 were awesome and so willing to help us put this out there and hopefully stop this scammer. The story is scheduled to air on tonights 10 or 11 oclock news. Please watch and share. If you ever receive an email from a domain that looks similar to a familiar site but may have 1 or 2 letters off, its most likely a scammer and you should delete it immediately. The scammer were dealing with was using fireleafdesignS, they simply added an S and used our founders name in the email signature. We have also had reports of a gmail address being used. If you have a website, we strongly recommend you purchase the private registration option to help protect your professional and personal identity.
