For those of you who have been around for the past year and a half as my FB family and friends you have read my prayer requests and updates about my daughter Vanessa Taff and her serious dental problems. As of today she had the last of her teeth cut out. She has four front teeth on the bottom which one requires a filling, but the other are good and healthy. She was able to have her second dental surgery a few weeks back when the dentist had z last minute no show and she took the appointment. With that surgery her teeth werent as bad as the six or so they removed the first time and so much trouble with. For some unknown reason the dentist didnt give her any antibiotics and she ended up with a severe bone infection of her jaw. Today she only had three or do teeth removed, but they had the worst time getting them out. They gave her numerous injections to numb her gums and never could get her completely numb and they told her they couldnt give her any injections. So long story short she did surgery through the crying and the pain. She said it was less teeth, but the worse of the three surgeries. She said it appears it will be January before she gets her upper plate and her lower particle plate. The next surgery will be bone smoothing and shaping. She had 14-16 extractions and due to the numerous complications today the dentist said it would be her hardest recovery. She said she is glad to have it all over. During the course of her dental work the dentist referred to a medical doctor after her first surgery with the high blood pressure and to have her heart checked. We are thankful for the first time in fifteen years she has a medical provider. She hasnt had insurance coverage since Ashley was born October 5, 1999. Thanks to my FB family, Friends and Church family for the many months of thoughts. And prayers. Please for a speedy, safe, and timely healing. Bad teeth and more bacterial infections than I could keep up with she has been a very sick girl for over five years. Being poor with no insurance with major health issues could have taken my only child from me if it hadnt been for The Lord answering a multitude of prayers. Praise The Lord for his mercies and the miracle of prayers!
