For those of you who have been asking, here you go: Yes, I have left the daycare. I already miss my Kids there. What was initially supposed to be a part time/temporary thing for me, became a full time job that I dearly loved. I made lasting friendships with many of my co-workers and several of the families. It was a wonderful opportunity. However, it is time for change in my life. As of this Sunday, I start my new career. I will be working in the Detention Center at the Clay County Sheriffs Office. In a way, I am leaving one form of daycare for another. I am both very sad (man I love those kiddos!) and very excited about this change. We will see how the rest of 2014 plays out for me!
