A simply amazing article on Transhumanism by Francesco Amati, highlighting why a philosophical and spiritual renaissance, linked to the concept of the neo-human, is such a necessary step in the creation of a new collective bio-technical evolution of mankind. I found really interesting the focus on transcendentalism as the first catalyst for any change in conscious evolution. What I think posthumanism may lack is an emphasis on spiritual consciousness before any major technological-enabling breakthrough might occur. You made exactly that point in a very enlightened and inspiring way! I agree with the breath of the article, just from my observations ive noticed that most folks in the transhuman community tend to overwhelmingly focus on the the tech aspects and generally give lip service to the spiritual, psychological, consciousness or whatever you want to call them aspects, which i think are equally if not more important. This is Transhumanism rooted in and based on inner transformation of consciousness (in the vein of Julian Huxleys original formulation) coupled with technology-augmentation in contradistinction to transhumanism that is technology-centered. Technological augmentation of the human brain will improve some functions of the brain but that does not make the human being more consciously aware or more compassionate. This was my reservation about the contemporary transhumanism which you have transcended! Very good!
