For those of you who have said you havent seen the invitation yet, here it is again,,,, Ill continue to repost it up to and including THE DAY OF OUR REUNION!! It cannot be said the info wasnt available!! Ready for a re-post of the Reunion Invite???? Theres A LOT of info here so grab a pen! Come celebrate the time when Michael Jackson, The Police and Pat Benatar were voted the top of the charts and Richard Gere, Meryl Streep, and M*A*S*H caught our attention on the big and little screens. ITS BEEN 30 YEARS since we wore our Flashdance sweatshirts, stood in line for Van Halen tickets, took our SATs, or wondered Wheres the beef?. Lets get together and share some of these memories and so much more! A dedicated team of your fellow graduates have been working hard to bring you an event you wont soon forget!! Well be dancing, laughing and sharing the night away on Saturday July 12 from 7:00pm to 11:00pm at The Jetty Bar & Grill 832 W. Beech St in Long Beach to the stylistic spinning of TJ the DJ. Lets help the guy out by INCLUDING IN YOUR RSVP COMMENTS YOUR FOUR FAVORITE HITS/ARTISTS FROM THE 1980s. Hes promised to TRY to get in everyones requests. The Early Bird cost (DUE ON OR BEFORE JUNE 14TH) is $50 PER PERSON. This covers the cost of an open bar, buffet, coffee & tea and the DJ. ANYTHING RECEIVED AFTER JUNE 14TH OR the At the Door cost is $70 PER PERSON. And heres the insider scoop from the owners of The Jetty Bar & Grill: IF WE HAVE 100 OR MORE ATTENDEES, WE ARE GUARANTEED THE PLACE TO OURSELVES. IF WE HAVE LESS THAN 100, WE HAVE TO SHARE THE SPACE WITH THE GENERAL PUBLIC. LBHS Reunion attendees will be given a wrist band. The question is, do you want to share? If you say HELL NO, then be sure to fill up the numbers ASAP. When you do RSVP, please be sure to include the year from which you are an alumni being that we have now opened up the invitation to friends and siblings who graduated in years other than 1984!! Please clearly state if you have any food allergies, sensitivities or prefer vegan choices. The owners will do everything possible to accommodate our needs. There will also be a 50/50 Raffle to benefit Sean McCarthys family. Please consider participating. We will also be respectfully honoring all of our fellow graduates & staff who have passed on. If you have the name of someone you know should be added to this list, please let us know here and/or photo youd like to share, please bring it with you. Also please consider joining me for a Morning After the Reunion Walk on the Boardwalk and Yoga on the Beach (time to be announced). A friend of mine, a professional yoga instructor, offered to volunteer her time and facilitate this for us. So you can let me know here and/or look for the sign up sheet at the Reunion.
