For those of you who have signed up to volunteer at the CollegeFish.org/C4 booth in the Marketplace at Convention, please check your email inbox for more information and details. collegefish.org In case you didnt receive it, here is the information: Hello, everyone! I’m so excited to see you all live and in person! Thank you sooooooo much for agreeing to volunteer at the CollegeFish.org & C4 booth in the Marketplace. Please report for your assigned volunteer shift at least ten minutes prior, if at all possible, and check in with the CollegeFish.org and/or Scholarship team member on duty for direction and training. They will be bright eyed and bushy tailed (as well as wearing a Phi Theta Kappa staff badge), eager to give you the details on Our booths are located adjacent to each other. Once you enter the Marketplace, you will see The Store (feel free to stop by and pick up your goodies before or after your volunteer shift). Continue straight past The Store and look up for the sign that says, “Completion & Transfer.” This will also likely be one of the most colorful, exciting, and busiest spots in the marketplace so come and join the fun! What should you wear? If you received your complimentary t-shirt in the mail and would like to model that, please do so. Otherwise, if one is being held for you, you are welcome to grab that prior to your shift. If a t-shirt is not available, no sweat – we will take your name, order one for later, and mail it to you to show our gratitude for your support. Also, if you don’t like the t-shirt or would prefer to represent your chapter or Phi Theta Kappa, that’s fine, too. CollegeFish.org colors will work, as well. Wear comfortable footwear and jeans/khakis are fine. Duties will include helping students to complete profiles on the iPads provided; managing the prize wheel and assisting with giveaways; helping students sign and complete their C4 pledge and operating the QR scanner so we can keep track of who has signed; and rallying people to enjoy the Photo Mingle booth with cool backgrounds to choose from. I promise, it’s all super easy and you will be an expert in no time. Remember, a CollegeFish.org team member will be ready and willing to help with any questions you can’t answer and/or to make you laugh. Can’t make your shift or running behind? Don’t sweat it – we know things come up. If you CAN let us know, great. If not, no worries. We still love you. In the event of an emergency, you may message me on Facebook.
