For those of you who havent seen any of our plugs for the Twilight - TopicsExpress

For those of you who havent seen any of our plugs for the Twilight Fiestas opening night headline act, Quatro, we thought it might be timely to recycle a review (posted on the Jammit Woodford FB page) after Quatros gig at the Woodford Bowls Club back in April: And then, in the twinkling of an eye, the stage was cleared and Jammit was transported to a parallel universe, where guitars and drums transformed into 3 violins and a cello and Jammit band regulars morphed into a quartet of nubile nymphs (who claimed to be 18) complete with classic dark blue gowns and angelic voices. For the remaining 45 mins Jammit patrons were transfixed with a fascinating blend of celtic, pop, and rock music performed with precision, grace, and passion, including a version of ‘Hallelujah’ which Leonard Cohen would have tearfully applauded (as did I) and Queen’s ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ likewise. Needless to say their finale was met with a well deserved standing ovation. The group was ‘QUATRO’. Remember that name because in years to come, while ‘QUATRO’ enchant larger local and global audiences, we at Jammit will look back to the night we witnessed them on stage at the Woodford Bowls Club Special thanks to the Jammit gods for making this possible and ensuring that the stage setup and sound quality allowed us to enjoy ‘QUATRO’ at their best. Jammit will never be the same again. While Quatros new website (quatrolive.au) is currently under construction, heres a taste of what you can expect to be treated to come Friday, October 17: youtube/watch?v=pXz3YlE98oQ
