For those of you who haven’t already, it’s about time to unplug your trickle chargers, dust off your motorcycles, blow the cobwebs out of your pipes…and prepare to join the Wings of Eagles Motorcycle Ministry for its second ride of the summer season. we’re heading to Johnstown Saturday, June 22 (along with thousands of other motorcycle “enthusiasts”), for the annual Thunder in the Valley bike rally. Plan to meet us in the parking lot of the South Hills Assembly of God church (Bethel Church Road in Bethel Park) at 8:45 a.m. And make sure your bike has a full tank of gas because we may not stop to refill for a little while. Men and women are welcome to join us, of course, and all bikes are welcome…except maybe motor scooters, which can sign up for the Wings of Sparrows Motor Scooter Ministry…When it’s established. Someday. Maybe. In case of rain, I simply would have suggested good rain gear, but… others have set a rain date of Sunday, June 23, after the first worship service – which means 10:30 a.m. in the church parking lot.
