For those of you who know me well, you are aware of how much I love to read. (and sew, and make music, and . . . well, pretty much anything except clean house and cook...) I have a room full of books which my husband is convinced will someday fall through the ceiling and crush him as he sleeps. Its not that I dont care about his well-being; I just dont have another room to put books in. Thats a different topic altogether. Anyway, if you enjoy fiction and you havent read any of Jan Karons books, you should give them a try. The Mitford series are so enjoyable! I just finished reading her latest book called Somewhere Safe with Somebody Good and its just great! I have a lot of favorite authors and shes definitely at the top of my lists. I have chuckled, snickered, grinned and shed a couple of tears throughout the stories of this small mountain village in the mountains of NC. Father Tim and his family, friends and residents of the town are characters you will enjoy meeting. Okay, theres my rave for the day. Enjoy!
