For those of you who know me well, you know Ive suffered from migraines for several years now. Ive tried everything: over the counter meds, natural remedies, prescriptions, focusing on triggers, etc... at one point, I thought they were getting better, but alas, they have come back and reared their ugly heads again in full force! On top of it all, my insurance changed in September, so Ive had to find new doctors not once but twice in the last couple of months!!! My most recent new doctor as of Wednesday put me on a new preventative migraine medicine that may work, once I give it time, but wow! Did I have a weird reaction with that medicine combined with another new medicine that I took with the onset of a severe migraine Friday morning (as instructed). It was so scary! I couldnt see to drive, I got so dizzy I could hardly walk, I had trouble speaking, and I blacked out! The doctor said I was one in a million! Im so glad that Derek, Zach, Carissa, and Marcie Kuperberg Brewer all came to my rescue! No more of that rx for me! Ill stick to the one preventative medicine only and hopefully see some improved results soon!
