For those of you who might think we arent paying enough attention - TopicsExpress

For those of you who might think we arent paying enough attention to your particular production as you head into performance week (you know who you are): 1. We receive dozens of listings a day via other sites, groups, pages, listervs, emails, and links, and we post it the way it comes- first-come, first-served. The more listings come in, the further down the page the listing youre looking for goes, so you may have to scroll a bit to see if a particular bit of information has made it to our page. 2. Sometimes information needs to be fact-checked for accuracy and may not make it to the page as swiftly as our members might like, but rest assured, just about everything that comes from companies in and around NH eventually gets posted. 3. One person does the postings on this page, and its pretty labor-intensive. It also means that due to the huge influx of theatre-related events in and around NH, things get missed. You can help by sending us a message if something that should be on the page isnt there yet. 4. Our focus is NOT just New Hampshire. It is theatre-related events IN and AROUND New Hampshire. Our members participate in theatre in Maine, Massachusetts and Vermont as well as NH, so we do our best to provide coverage to those companies and events as well. 5. If you think a company or event is getting more page time than you, thats not our fault. Their publicity machine may be organized than yours. The company that is more aggressive about their publicity, is going to GET the publicity. Dont blame us if the event your company is sponsoring doesnt make it- be better about getting the word out. Take a look at what theyre doing and see if theres something you can learn from it. 6. As always, if you are concerned that word may not be getting out about a specific event, TAKE ACTION! Please feel free to provide us with a link to a companys event page, or point us to that companys website, or have them send their press releases to thegranitestageofnh@gmail. We promise to do our best to pass your information along in a timely manner- but its YOUR job to get it to us first. Thanks! Michael J. Curtiss Administrator The Granite Stage
