For those of you who want signed books but cant make it to a local event or if we arent able to get to a city near you, here are a few ideas: 1 - send a friend to an event near them and give them whatever name you want us to sign to, thats probably easiest - were happy to sign as many books as yall want/need 2 - call ahead to a store near you and pre-order the book and ask them to have it signed to your name (or any name) at the event. Stores often give us a pile of books with post-its that are already paid for and the customer just couldnt be there for the event! Then you can pick it up at your convenience. 3- call ahead to a store anywhere we are going and see if theyll let you pre-order to get it signed then ship it to you! I think most stores will easily do this, especially independents and B&N (not Costco, sorry)! To find a store to call, heres the list of events balbit.es/eventbrite2014 We try so, SO hard to get to every city we can get to, but its just not possible to be everywhere in the time we have, and with the energy it takes to travel the country. Planning a tour is really difficult and there are a lot of factors that go into it. We would absolutely love to visit every city everywhere, but we just cant. And, if were coming to a city near you, the best way to ensure well come back is to attend support the event and support the store with your purchase. We are always most likely to revisit a city that had great attendance - and the stores are always more willing to host us if theyve been able to support them with your purchases. Youd be surprised how hard it is to call up and old bookstore and have them agree to host an event! So these factors are always at play. We love you all, so I wanted to share these ideas I had for how we can get you personally signed books despite not being able to get to every city everywhere! Also, please dont get mad when your city isnt on our tour map. Its so upsetting to me when you guys comment in disappointment after Ive worked so hard to get 14 cities booked for these trips. I want you ALL to know that we truly want to be everywhere, but we just cant do it all!
