For those that are tuning it at home, heres this weeks update (if you actually get to see this post, please engage with it, even if it is hate - id like to know just how many people read these things). So, whats happened in the last week since my last post? My business tip for the week: Know who youre working with. Make it your business. The success of any business is directly correlated to the success of your network. Businesses are built on the foundations of trust. If you cant trust those around you, progression will be non-existent. A few milestones were achieved: - Doyoueven has finally cracked the top 50k in the world (alexa ranking) - top 4k in Australia - finalized the mass production for a dozen new products which was given an ETA of mid-Nov - our first generation tracksuits arrive next Monday - samples for a few new products, that weve been hanging on, arrived at my house this morning (now have to finalize changes to colour pallets, sizing, print, etc before we can move forward on mass production) - 3 new manufacturers have been set up re; new product development for DYE - working closely on tech start up with none other than bluechilli (the 2nd venture I made mention of - you can see them here, bluechilli - theyre a VC/Development group that I had the pleasure of pitching too, that took on board our platform from 4,000 other applicants - something all parties involved in, are extremely excited about). Progression: - DYEs first social element to the site will be launching shortly (ETA - 1/2 weeks). The platform for the DYE forums have been completely built from scratch by a very talented team for the last few months - it is nothing like what currently exists (were hoping that everyone thoroughly enjoys it, as it allows for plenty of interactivity). - On that note, what categories would you like to see from these forums (the mandatory categories that you would engage with - misc is a given)? Setbacks: - Dieting: the diet was completely on track from mon-fri, but let go of it over the weekend as I had my best mates bucks; its now back on track, but overall, has lead to an unwanted set-back. - Relations/Products: Its always key to stay on top of all relationships and all facets of your business (the more portals you open up, the more sparingly you have to distribute your time; however distribution of time can lead to relations being tested and partners not performing adequately - on both ends). Anybody keen for the next update to be that of a video update? Ediz
