For those that attended Faire in Devore, I must sadly announce the passing of Joe Suarez. Joe wasnt a Faire person, but he certainly took care of many of us at Joes Country Corners by the railroad tracks. Many of us would stop for a cold drink, grab a snack or meet up with friends there. The old place has been torn down to make way for the new bridge that will go over the railroad tracks there. Joe and his wife, Raina had retired to Texas and that is where he died this week. I knew Joe through his civil activities within the city of San Bernardino. He was a councilman of the 5th Ward and a member of the San Bernardino Sunset Rotary Club. He was always ready to give a hand or advice when someone was in need.
