For those that have not heard, my son Dushawn Harris is leaving the nest a year early. He has been recruited (thanks to his friend Javon Smith) by Georgia Preparatory Sports Academy in Atlanta for basketball where he will complete his senior year of high school. For those that know him, you know he loves basketball. This is a great opportunity for him to get more exposure, to be trained by some of the best and possibly earn a full ride scholarship for college. He will be leaving August 14 (evening). This a bittersweet moment for me, but I knew it was coming eventually. I trust that the Lord will watch over him as hes away & trust that the seeds that have been planted over the years has fallen on good ground. With that being said I will be having a backyard BBQ for him on Saturday, August 9 (mark your calendars) at my home. More information will come soon.
