REQUIREMENTS: · Bachelor’s degree with 8 years’ experience in Marketing or related field; · Qualification in Marketing, Experience in Sales and Distribution, product / brand management; Need not have a media background · Possess general knowledge of direct and brand marketing principles and strategies; · Deep understanding of interactive marketing landscape; · Literacy in Tamil · Basic software skills – MS excel, Word, Powerpoint; · Have polished presentation, communication and analytical skills; · Strategic thinking, Planning & Organising, Decisiveness, Leadership & Problem Solving; · Communication skills, Influencing Abilities, Good Judgement. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 2. AVP, New Media [Indian Customer Business] Job Responsibilities:- · This role will be supporting the Indian Channel team. · Develop digital content strategy for Indian Entertainment. · Seek new business opportunities in coordination with Sales department. Tasks include conceptualizing, sourcing and evaluating program integration, exclusive event coverage, joint ventures and sponsorship deals. · Analyze appropriate business opportunities, define and track product and business success metrics, competitive overview, identify barriers, strategies, potential strategic alliances and develop business plans to support new products/initiatives. · Work closely with sales, marketing and technology teams to ensure full comprehension of the value of individual releases, products and entire portfolio for each segment. · Manage working relationships with creative agencies, media agencies and other related vendors to promote branding, products and services in the digital and new media space. · Daily operation includes managing internal and external working relationships and processes in ensuring timely execution of campaigns, events and projects. · Manage bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, balance the business needs against technical constraints and maximize business benefit while building customer experience. · A fast learner, able to work long hours. Job Requirements:- · University degree preferably in Mass Communication majoring in Marketing, IT, Digital, Broadcasting, Public Relations, or Advertising. · 8 to 10 years of solid experience in media and advertising industry specializing in digital and new media space - especially in a Managerial role. · Excellent product knowledge of television programming, including knowledge of television production. · Knowledge of the local and regional television landscape, especially in Pay television and especially in the Indian Channel segments.
