For those who asked about the 6plus & Note Edge - TopicsExpress

For those who asked about the 6plus & Note Edge comparison... (1) I love having BOTH for different reasons. I missed the iPhone for synching, accessories, iTunes, and thats about it. (2) iPhone is always gonna make a high quality phone. I love that. For such an expensive device it matters. The rounded edges make it easy to drop without a case, but it rocks compared to Samsungs high quality glass/plastic. Still the note Edge wins for me on design and the edge screen that has completely separate functionality from the home screen. Both cameras and speaker quality is awesome. Samsung wins for the addition of pixels that saturate photos and makes the Retina display STELLAR. You notice the difference. But Im satisfied with iPhone display. (3) Extras: iPhone gave me ear buds. Ok. Pretty neat. Note allows me to change the battery which makes carrying a backup an option in case I cant charge. I also get the benefit of adding an SD card to upgrade memory any way I want. The S Pen is a feature apple cant touch. That pen is its own device and the things it can do are way too much to name. (4) Software: So I was happy for iOS upgrades. Things it does was cool. My issue though, nothing was new. My Samsung phone was doing these things three years ago, so it wasnt exciting for me. It felt like Apple is back logged on catching up BUT they keep it simple for their end user and I respect that! Android takes a little time to learn, but if you are willing you will get everything under the kitchen sink! Fingerprint scanner is better on 6plus! But Samsung offers face recognition, voice recognition, fingerprint, pattern locking, and pass code lock for multiple ways to safeguard the phone. It also detects a baby crying and doorbell and alerts me. I have eye detection so as Im scrolling web pages it follows my eye and scrolls for me. If I turn my head my videos stop until my eye is back on it. SWIF board comes with Android, have to upload it for apple. Palm waving detection lets me screen shot and see my phone stats without unlocking the phone. Both allow me to shrink the display. Samsung allows several lock screens and functions directly from it for quick launch. Samsung can open up to 16+ apps and run them on the home screen at once. You dont think you need it until you can actually do it. All the camera features 6 plus added I already had back to Galaxy s3 so it was nice but not new for me. Samsung offers so many hidden features that you just get more for your money. (4) iTunes vs Google Play: I prefer iTunes. I just do. But google play offers most apps free that you pay for with iTunes. Largely its gonna be about you and what you want out of your phablet. For me, I need the most functionality and features. Im willing to learn the software to get it. Ease of use? Go with 6plus. You cant get it wrong with an apple phone. Its always gonna be quality and offer simplicity. Innovation and features and loads of extras? Go with any Samsung Note phone. The note edge rocks for me because of the additional screen on the edge and what it provides, but any NOTE is awesome. Samsung still wins for me hands down. I agree with the professional critics. Im definitely using the 6plus as my second phone, but I love it. Regular Apple users will feel differently. This is me having both and my personal opinion.
