For those who care to know how frauds like Sylvia Browne, James Van Praagh and Theresa Caputo work.....heres a very simple explanation on the various methods. It has nothing to do with the paranormal, metaphysical, supernatural or clairvoyance, talking to the dead, channeling spirits or any of that nonsense. Its mostly cold-reading, warm-reading, playing the probabilities, language patterns and psychological ploys.... ...and, unfortunately, all those methods tend to work well when youre talking to bereaved, mourning, emotionally vulnerable people who WANT to believe that their loved ones are reaching out for them. Its a disgusting thing to do to someone whos lost a loved one.
