It is possible that either of them keep their promise faithfully, or not.” “As for the one of certainty, If I depend upon Ibn Tashfin, then I will please Allah, but if I depend upon Alfonso, then I will enrage Allah. So, the doubtful situation being as it is, why should I leave what pleases Allah for what angers Him?” On 13th Ramadan 479 AH Yusuf Ibn Tashfin defeated Alfonso VI then started to unify the disunited Muslims of al-Andalusia.
