For those who dont know, I help support in any way I can Music Is Our Weapon and the wonderful dudes who run it. Weve recently gotten our first Nursing Home outfitted with iPods and headphones (with all the dankest gospel and blues loaded up) for the residents to enjoy. Those suffering from Alzheimers and other mental or neurological issues seem to really respond to the music, and its proving a wonderful way to interact with residents in lieu of medication. One home down, many many more to come!
