For those who have seen the movie Falling Down, this will make sense. I just stopped by a local restaurant to get something for my dad. He wanted something from another eatery but they were closed. I did not take a phone with me so I asked if I could use their phone to call my dad and see what he wanted off their menu. The cute little high school girl smiled at me and said we dont let customers use our phone. I said I understand but I am trying so spend some money here at your place of business and I am not sure what he would like because he enjoys several dishes you serve. I said customers are not permitted to use our phone. I looked at her kind of funny I guess and then I went for it and asked to see the manager on duty. She smiled real big this time and said sure, be right back! Within one minute she and dread locked twenty something showed up to my absolute delight. His words to me were, sir, what dont you understand? I calmly said that I understand that you dont want my business. He replied, oh, we want your business but customers are not allowed to use the phone...for any reason. I will be glad to get an order for you though. Before I became Michael Douglas I just walked away. Guess I will have to go find a Whammy Burger.
