For those who just joined this group in recent months, please go through below to understand how it all started I should also remind or inform some of you that as much as being united as the sons and daughters of Hlanganani, Bungeni crew is not only about braai(s)/parties contrary to what most of you believe. In the back ground there are dedicated people working hard towards establishing an organisation that will empower and delevelop Hlanganani by partnering with other organisation wanting to improve quality of life in our beloved Villages...i personally have seen positives out of the social gatherings we often have and i believe if you have not seen how meeting/networking with other fellow members of your community of origin can better ur life, one day you will see & enjoy the benefits. When it started all we wanted to do was promote friendships, we identified a need after one chap realized that people who used to talk for hours, played sport together for many years in high school, were classmates since from primary till they graduated in high school then came to a famous place once called Ka Mbhazima (former Gautengs most successful premier) These people who grew up together could no longer spend 2 minutes talking, all they could say to each other was Heita , Sho and that was it, that behavior became worrying and instead of complaining saying that guy thinks he is better now, he cant even talk to me for a minute nxa An idea came to mind, an idea that would seek to promote friendships and unite people so we can meet and instead of saying Heita sho we can share more about personal experiences in life, share more about work & career experiences, talk investment, pass on the knowledge to college & varsity students. Out of an idea caused by a worrying behavior @Bungeni_crew was born, today we can gather in one place and celebrate life, celebrate our successes as the sons & daughters of Bungeni & surrounding villages, we know that when a son of bungeni prospers the whole community prospers. For this initiative to the crawling after its birth a lot of people sacrificed their small egos, we put aside our differences and we agreed that whatever we do we should never let our egos consume great and wise ideas that seek to promote and encourage social cohesion amongst the sons & daughters of hlanganani @bungeni_crew is not a person but a group of people who identified a need, a need to bring people together to share experiences about life, work, education and business. Who is bungeni crew? they asked, bungeni crew is YOU...a voice answered. Who is behind that voice, its bungeni crew...a voice answered again. @Bungeni_Crew is YOU, about YOU and for YOU
