For those who know me and what my life stands for, the homeless - TopicsExpress

For those who know me and what my life stands for, the homeless veteran, knows how hard this is for me to do. As many know I have had almost half of my back fused which limits my activities with my love of veterans. I have gone from fighting with 18 city councils to fly the POW/MIA flag to walking from Redlands to Sacramento, some 350 miles to get the state to fly 24/7. Since my first operation I have had to reevaluate my lifes goal for the veteran. Learning how to cut hair and taking a trailer set up to be a mobile barber shop where I can take care of the homeless veterans. Hair cut and shave and a set of clean clothes was the goal. But my benefits have been cut by social security and workmans comp and now looking at another surgery to fuse a couple more disks have now caused me to look for someone to take my dream and run with it. My plans to walk to Washington DC and visit the Vietnam Memorial Wall is also now gone. My son Michael hates this but when i am asked why I do what I do, I remember talking to God and making a deal with Him, that if he brings my son home safe I will spend my life fighting for the memory of the POW/MIA and the homeless veteran. Our government has forgotten our heroes and it gets my goat to see taxes go to other countries when we have vets going to sleep hungry. Contact me if you are serious.
