For those who know my grandson, Justin Warren, this article - TopicsExpress

For those who know my grandson, Justin Warren, this article reminds me of him when he was the age of this child. My grandson , Justin , also has Williams Syndrome and he too loves animals. We have witnessed animals do as this horse did, almost bow down to him. It is as though the animals know he is different and allow him to do his thing, so to speak. Justin has always loved animals, no matter what kind, size, or shape. When he was about 3 or 4, he was visiting his grandparents from Va. Their neighbor had one of those big talking birds and that bird, according to its owner did not like anyone or let anyone other than the owner have anything to do with it. The owner was amazed and scared at first the bird would hurt Justin because Justin would stick his little fingers through the wire cage and stroke the bird, talking to it the whole time. The bird allowed Justin to touch or pet him and would even talk to Justin. The Grandmother from Va. called me to tell me about the situation and how surprised the owners were. Justin has always been an animal lover, especially his dog , Trixie. Trixie is about 13 years old now and her health is failing. Please pray for Trixie as it is going to be very hard and painful for all of us when she dies, but especially for Justin. He refers to himself as Trixies Daddy. lol We have seen many miracles , not only with animals, but also with people and things Justin has said and you just knew there was no way he could have known what he was saying except divine intervention. Once when he was about 3, we said prayers, did good nite kisses and put him to bed. The next morning, we dressed him and he casually said that Jesus had come to see him. Shocked, we asked him what Jesus did and her replied, He just sat on my bed and told me I was a good boy and he loved me very much. He told me one day I would go to heaven to live with him. He was so calm and acted like it was an everyday occurrence. We asked him so many questions and he answered them patiently until finally he got tired and told us he had already answered the same questions over and over. We were convinced he had talked to Jesus!! Things like this have happened many times in his life. We are convinced that for all the things they lack and are not considered normal, God gives them many other gifts. We have been mightily blessed and Justin has taught us how to love and love unconditionally. We love our other grandchildren and they also have special gifts and talents, but having a child with Williams syndrome has really been a blessing in disguise. Williams Syndrome is a very rare genetic disorder, technically speaking , it is DNA matter missing off the 7th chromasome. Very rare. Justin is now 21 and he is loved by most all people who comes in contact with him. He does not judge people by skin color, wealth or possessions, or education. He just accepts people as they are. He is very geniune and sincere and most folks are drawn to him, just like animals are.
