For those who missed it (like me), this past June the Supreme - TopicsExpress

For those who missed it (like me), this past June the Supreme Court has subverted the Fifth Amendment. Now, if you want to receive the legal protection of your right to remain silent, you have to clearly and specifically invoke that right _out_loud_ - whether or not your Miranda rights have been read to you. In other words, if you wish to remain silent, and not have that fact incriminate you at some later date (whether you are under arrest _or_not_), you have to say so. addictinginfo.org/2013/07/01/another-scotus-decision-slipped-under-the-radar-want-to-remain-silent-you-better-speak-up/ Read the actual ruling here: supremecourt.gov/opinions/12pdf/12-246_7l48.pdf
