For those who thinks Physiotherapy is Medically Directed Profession & to those medical association which gives MCIs , IMAs References.....here is a BIG Slap on ur face. In reply to my RTI, Maharashtra Medical Council has clearly said Physiotherapy is INDEPENDENT profession & MMC, MCI doesnt have any right & is not an authority to regulate Noble Profession of Physiotherapy. MCI CANT DICTATE TERMS PHYSIOTHERAPY PROFESSION. Read questions of My RTI & corresponding answers given By Registrar, Maharashtra Medical council. Specially Read Question. no. 4,6, 8,15,17,19. HERE R ANSWERS of... Q.NO 2 to 11 : BIG NO Q.NO. 13-14 : BIG NOOOO Q.NO. 16-19 : AGAIN BIG NOOOO I warn those Medical fraternity & specially associations outside Maharashtra who are misleading public & also sending Letters to Hospitals of Maharashtra by giving references of MCI, IMA & Tamilnadu, Kerala Govt about AUTONOMY of Physiotherapy profession. Kindly take serious note that your Medical Council only Mentioning us as INDEPENDENT profession & proving your immature comments as wrong one. Stop their KIDDISH activities. otherwise, we will initiate LEGAL Action against such people. Cheers to Physiotherapy.
