For those who watched the Meatspace test pilot, Im currently re-writing the script based on viewer feedback. Believe it or not, your comments (both positive AND negative) have been taken to heart. While the broadcast pilot was a taste of Meatspace, I feel like this revised version (the script which will be sent to broadcasters and production companies) is what the episode SHOULD have been. However, I need a bit of feedback from people on one very specific topic. The swearing. Yay or nay? Did it work or should it be removed or toned down? Keep in mind, the episode was been designed to be broadcast post-watershed (between 21:00 and 06:00) so harming the ears of children wouldnt be an issue. But during the broadcast, people were completely divided by it. The comments section actually got quite heated during Lydias speech near the end because some people really liked it and others really didnt. Its actually divided quite a few of my close friends and family members. Some felt it worked and others felt it didnt. Whether it was the Twat/Dick exchange, or the f-bombs dropped by Lydia towards the end, people either loved it or hated it. Please, explain your thoughts on it in the comments below. If you felt it worked, let me know. If you felt it didnt work, then also let me know. And more importantly, REASONS are needed. Constructive feedback is whats making this re-write work so lets keep that going! And dont just say It didnt flow. Fair enough if you felt that, but WHY didnt it flow? Dont just leave it at that basic statement. How would you make it work? Discussion based on other aspects that could use improving can also be done below, but its the language I want people to primarily focus on.
