For those who were so dismissive of Sherbet in Malcolm Browns post, as if pop was a swear word, or worse, that they were no more than a teeny bopper band..I challenge you watch this old GTK clip & then to make the same claim, as Sherbet spread their wings into prog rock territory on Graham Nashs Chicago..the first 2 or 3 minutes are a fairly straight, if accomplished rendering of the original. But Sherbet then take it to all sorts of moody & atmospheric places via Garths superb Hammond/Synthesizer work & Clives guitar, while the bass & drums keep the bottom end rock solid. Please give it a try, you may be pleasantly surprised unless you think rock starts & finishes with heavy metal, or AC/DC..can you imagine the Bay City Rollers or these days, One Direction going out on a limb like this, let alone doing it so well?
