For those wondering why I show the goats, and how they are judged: I show to have my best goats evaluated by trained judges against the breed description. This in turn helps me make the best choices when I breed to continue to preserve the breed in its original true form. My goats are NOT judged against the other goats, simply ranked by how closely they match the description. Breed descriptions in any breed tend to change over the years. IFGA and MGR are working hard to keep myotonics looking like they used to.
