For though I preach the Gospel, I have NOTHING to GLORY of: for NECESSITY is laid upon me; yea, WOE is to me, if I PREACH NOT the Gospel! For if I do this thing WILLINGLY, I have a REWARD: but if AGAINST MY WILL, a DISPENSATION of the Gospel is COMMITTED to me (1 Corinthians 9:16, 17)… Each and every member of the Body of Christ should UNDERSTAND that we’ve been CALLED and CHOSEN to PREACH the Gospel of Jesus Christ for SALVATION to the SINNER, the LOST – the UNGODLY. This isn’t an OPTION or REQUEST from the THRONE of Heaven, but a MANDATORY REQUIREMENT – a COMMAND! We don’t do it for any GLORY or RECOGNITION of our own, but that Jesus be LIFTED UP, God the Father be GLORIFIED, and that LOST SOULS are WON to the Kingdom of God. This we are to be doing WILLINGLY for whatever REWARD God chooses to grant us for doing so through the SUPPLYING of our NEEDS. However, if we don’t WITNESS or EVANGELIZE the Gospel message to the SINNER willingly, it doesn’t EXCLUDE us from the NECESSITY that we are still COMMANDED to do so! Every Born-Again Believer is being held ACCOUNTABLE for our COMMITMENT to the Gospel – or our LACK thereof. Nobody is EXEMPT to just HANGOUT in church and do CHURCHY activities and think that God the Father or Jesus is PLEASED and APPROVES. “For you are BOUGHT with a PRICE: therefore GLORIFY God in your body, and in your spirit, which are Gods” (1 Corinthians 6:20). We GLORIFY God by LIFTING UP Jesus so the SINNER can be SAVED!
