For throwback Thursday. I have been asked a very serious question a lot lately: Knowing what you know now, having lived what you have already lived through, facing those same challenges and experiencing the major complications from the lapband, would you still have done it? Pics 1 and 2 are before shots. I have lost over 120 lbs but I gained freedom, confidence, the ability to do thins I wouldnt otherwise have been able to do. Pic 3 is me a couple days ago. I may face challenges and health related hurdles. I may have to live with some pretty serious side effects of once having a lapband but I do not regret my choice. At the time, in the circumstances I was in, it was my best option. Life is about choices and learning to dance in the rain, not just get through.
