For tomorrow, I would BEG that we do not repeat the last 3 days. This dog is in survival mode. He will not come to anyone for a ride, to go to the park, to a squeaky toy, to another dog, and even to its owner. I know everyone is trying to help, but its not helping, its making it worse. As soon as he is spotted, the location gets posted and 100 people go out and unintentionally scare the hell out of him. The K9 trainer someone spoke to as well as every expert resource I can find says this is the worst possible thing to do. He will mentally retreat further and further as he learns to live on his own. He will become more reclusive and sightings will happen less. Hopefully he will make his way back to the barn and prairie and and a calculated plan can be put in place to trap him. The owner may need to hire a professional trapper. Less people, more patience
