For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:10 Do you know that you are uniquely and wonderfully made? Do you know that you are His craftsmanship? Do you understand that as a child of God you are His handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works? For most of us we will live in 2015 just as we did in 2014. Mediocrity will be the standard and complaining will be our anthem. There will be far too many Christians who will live out unfulfilled lives not walking into the promises of God during 2015. What about you? Do you know that God created you and you are His handiwork? Do you fully understand that you were created for Good works and you are a member of a Royal Priesthood? As we close out 2014 I have been really trying to make sure I am on the road that God has set before me and not traveling my own path. You see I get it that God created me for so much more than I am right now, God created me to do so much more than I am doing, God created me to reach an audience I have not reached. God has plans for each and everyone of us and we all as followers have a mission or reason to be here on earth. George Washington Carver once said no man should ever pass through this earth without leaving behind distinct legitimate reasons for having been here. When as followers of Christ we fully understand this simple yet powerful truth that we have purpose and we are so much more than just fleshly beings living out our days on earth we will walk into our purpose and become the change agents God is looking for to Go into all the world and make disciples. Do you know why you are here? God has prepared everything you need in advance. All you have to do is submit, surrender, sacrifice, self, and be all He created you to be. Merry Christmas!
