For what does the Scripture say? Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. - Romans 4:3 When God looks at your life, he’s only going to see a “blip” of sin. There’s no doubt or uncertainty about your righteousness, God has the capacity and ability to make you righteous for eternity. This is something you can be certain about. There is no question in God’s eyes that we are perfectly righteous for eternity. Our lives are a vapor – we struggle for only a moment in time What is God asking for that blip? God: “TRUST me that I have you covered for eternity”. You don’t need to produce anything because I have produced an eternity of righteousness for you. Can you trust Me? Can you believe God is powerful enough to secure your righteousness for eternity, even if you can’t make it happen for the 70 or 80 years you’re here on the planet? Is your God that big? Life is just a brief momentary exercise in trusting God. If all you do is trust God you’re hooked up for eternity. He has the power to set free forever. God is certain that if you trust him, he will make you righteous for eternity. All you need to do to look for proof of that is look at the extent he went to do that for you. God was not playing around when he sent his son, he was committed to you for eternity. God is serious about this. If you can simply trust him, he has the power to produce a perfect eternity for you.
