For whatever reason, the description of this post and several others published between Oct 28th and Nov. 8th disappeared. Since it seams to be getting a lot of attention again lately, we decided to share it again. Here is the description: The call was received as a lock-out with a 4 month old inside. The nanny was very frantic and since she left her phone inside, she wasnt able to contact the homeowners, nor did she know their number. The baby was crying and we tried to calm the nanny and explain that as long as he didnt stop, it was a fairly good indication he was okay. No one was home at either of the next-door neighbors and all the windows and doors were locked, including those on the second floor. This is a staged photo of the side door which was taken after we had already gained entry. The back door had numerous panes of glass which was a consideration but the locks were the same set as pictured here and breaking a small section of glass was still not a guarantee that we would be able to get in if a key was needed from the inside. With a halligan held in place and hydra-ram set on top of it, we were able to spread the frame far enough to push the door open (luckily, the top lock wasnt engaged). No damage was done to the door or frame and we were able to secure it when we left.-The Truck
