For years I could hardly wait for the day my son finally had a house of his own because I wanted to get rid of all his stuff so I could reclaim my basement. I hired a guy today to put everything in a cargo van I rented for the trip to TJs house tomorrow. A very strange thing happened while I was looking at my now vacant and spacious basement. Instead of feeling elated as I expected, I had a major case of sadness hit me. It hit me like a truck that he was finally really gone :( My boy was finally all grown up and on his own. I started remembering all the great times we had together and all the times his friends used to hang out at the house. Pierce, Rutz, Duece and all the others, you know who you are!!!!
