For years I made fun of them .... condescendingly criticized them ... swore Id never become one of them... but once again Swarups foot is found buried deep in his big mouth. Im talking about the iPhone obsession ... when the damn thing becomes an extension of your body and your eyes leave the screen only in case of dire emergencies. Ive always boasted that I had no need of an iPhone .. or Smart Phone ..or Android ... and that I was satisfied with my simple cell phone that made and received calls. I didnt even have texting for a long time before I finally gave in. But alas ... it became necessary to provide ourselves with a mobile hot spot so we could tether the signal to our computer thereby no longer depending on the very undependable WiFi provided by the RV parks where weve been staying for the past 8 months. And I tell you ... it happened so fast I didnt even know I was being taken over. But it did happen and nowadays my Samsung Android has become an extension of my body. Im in app hell and theres no cure. What do I do? Is there an antidote?
