For years Id only looked at the needs around me.. And jumped in without thought.. And much of the time COMPLETELY ignoring my gut. Well, I will say, I havent been letting the word YES rule me, and Im so grateful. Yesterday I didnt proctor because I knew Id committed to a bible study. Even when last min texts came in, I chose not to go. This might seem like a no brainer but it was HARD, lol. :) Loved every second of our girls time. Last night and then again this morn, I was asked to sub. Ive had only 1 day this month.. Not too good. But, Shawn was off this morn and my gut said dont take it. I adore my middle schoolers, and they beg me to sub (Im not kidding)... It was extremely hard to say no. But I did, and so happy I did. Shawn was called in to work early. If Id gone in I would have seen him just 1 day in a week. AHH.. I may be a slow learner, but Im getting there. Balance. Everything is balance.
