I invite uall to go through this and see the caliber of students prof. F. Rahman produced and the kind of Islamic thought they produce, contrary to some progressive modernists who have hijacked F. Rahmans legacy claiming to follow in his footsteps and while accepting Rahman’s terminology, have used his proposals in ways that seem to contradict the main thrust of his arguments… for although Rahman spent most of his academic life in the West, he remained firmly committed to an Islamic process of knowledge, though at the same time he subjected traditional Islamic thought and methodologies to a profound critique...
